That Parka Swag.

The parka jacket has become a staple during these coolers months. Something light enough to throw over and keep you warm when the weather is a bit chillier outside, but not too thick that it feels like you will melt.

I have seen so many in the stores lately and they come in an array of colours as well. Therefore you could get it in a more girly pastel pink or the utility colour of green. I decided to stick to the traditional military colour of a parka jacket being army green.

I feel as if it makes a look feel more relaxed because it’s not a coat or jacket that is too dressy. Easily worn to keep me warm at varsity or on the weekends when I feel like dressing it up with a pair of heels.

This season is all about layering up, and it is so simple to do with a parka jacket which can be thrown over simply anything for an endless effortless look.

It has really been feeling like Winter lately. I have never really been much of a Winter fan because I don’t fancy the cold too much, but what I do really love about the Winter months is the fashion! The amount of layers and coats and boots just make everything look so elegant and classy! 

With Winter settling in fast, I thought what better way than to break into my new sleeveless  bomber jacket that I picked up from Pick ‘n Pay Clothing. It’s really easy to wear and it looks really chic. I dressed it up with white jeans (which have quickly become my favourite pair of jeans!), heels and a classy handbag. But it can so easily be worn casually for a winter braai by pairing it with some boots and crossbody bag. I have been loving this colour combination lately, especially for Winter! Who said Winter had to be all doom and gloom?! So I decided to brighten it up with some Winter whites and nudes.

I also wanted to mention my bag. I have been ON THE HUNT for a large white handbag for quite some time now, and when I saw this one on sale at Forever New I went in especially to purchase it! One of my BEST buys because it’s really easy to wear with anything.
