Marsala

Hey Everyone!!!

A much talked about colour for winter (and possibly for the year), marsala, a rich, warm, earthy yet sophisticated colour which reminds one much of wine. It has been said that the colour spurs creativity, evokes confidence, embraces and invites warmth. Now who wouldn’t want this colour in their wardrobe which has such positive connotations attached to it! Especially during winter!

I thought it was the perfect colour on this really chilly and cold winter’s day. It has the power to make one feel the warmth and cosy with adding a touch of sophistication. And what not a better piece than chunky knitwear in that colour! Mixing the texture and colour makes for the perfect winter combo! I actually bought this knitwear from Mr Price in a few sizes bigger than my actual size. Purely for the reason that I enjoy some knitwear to look baggy and have that chunky feel that you can wrap yourself in and just get lost in it. And also because I think the one in my size was made to be a crop knitwear top, and I just couldn’t have that. Besides its winter and one can get away with baggy knitted jerseys!

I decided to pair my chunky knit with a round floppy hat in the same colour. Hats are really in this season! In fact it can be worn throughout the year. Adding accessories add to and change the feel of an outfit. So with my leather pants and cheeky peep-toe boots, I feel the wide brimmed floppy hat softens the edginess a little.
Later on I added my beloved poncho from Woolworths to keep me extra warm for when the sun sets and it gets a little colder.

Let me know what you think of the colour and look by leaving me a comment down below. And don't forget to give a follow and a share :)
I hope everybody is having an amazing day

Thank you all for reading :)
