Guys!
So I just
realised it’s been a hot minute since my last post. Exam period was such a
stressful time, then I had some classes back to back for two weeks (winter school almost) and straight afterwards we went on a little getaway. And just my
luck the day we left I came down with the most horrific flu! I’ve just recently
recovered fully from it, but I felt a little off my game in terms of writing
and suffered from writer’s block, so I decided to take a few days off instead of
writing a whole bunch of gibberish that my heart and soul wasn’t 100% put into
it, just to get a post out there for the sake of getting it out there. It definitely came in handy and helped me to
gather all my thoughts and put them down on paper.
Today I
decided to start off with the usual Monochrome Monday. It’s the start of the
week and felt like a clean slate to me. Plus I haven’t posted one in quite some
time and to tell you the truth, I have missed them myself! So here it goes! :)
The star
of the show is definitely the poncho. They are a really hot trend this season! They
either come in plain winter colours or patterned, they are so versatile and
easy to wear and it will definitely keep me warm and cosy this winter! It’s so
easy to layer with this item because you just throw it over whatever you are
wearing and walk out of the door!
The past
few days have been so cold and overcast in Jo’burg and I have been reaching for
this bad boy all weekend to keep me warm and snug! They’re so nice to wrap
yourself in and laze around near the fire place with a cup of hot chocolate and
a good book! Boy! Doesn’t that sound inviting!
