Asian Per-SUEDE-sion

Skirt & Bag - Mr Price  | Hat - Cotton On | Top - Edgars |
Ankle Boots – Ackermans | Belt – Vintage |
Necklaces – Overseas | Sunglasses – Ray-Ban |
Watch – Michael Kors

Hey Everyone!

I felt as if I stepped out of my comfort zone a little bit with this outfit. I’m not one for suede but ever since I bought my suede-boho jacket I just couldn’t resist. Plus I have been seeing suede skirts everywhere lately it’s hard not to want them! So when Mr Price came out with one I thought I would try out the trend. The 70s, boho trend is quite in right now, with the style launching in every single store! You’re practically surrounded by it! It’s hard not to get into it. And I must admit, I have been loving it!

It was a little bit chilly in the morning when I put this outfit together, so I paired it with some black tights and ankle boots. To keep the outfit a bit balanced I didn’t pair it with a polo-neck, if I hadn’t worn tights I probably wold have. I added the hat, vintage belt, fringe bag and layered chains to accessorize. It also added to the outfit.

With chilled, relaxed vibes going into spring, expect to see lots of fringe, bootleg jeans, off the shoulder tops and a-line skirts.

Let me know your thoughts of the trend by leaving me a comment down below. And please don't forget to give a follow and a share :)
I hope everybody is having an amazing day

A Casual-Boho Look.

Jacket & Handbag - Mr Price | Boots - Makro |
Woolen Pullover - Foschini | Jeans – Levi’s

Hey guys!

So with varsity back on track, the work load has been piling up in all directions and it took me some time to sort through it (I am still trying to get ahead of it though) and prioritise my time. To be very honest it’s one of my biggest struggles and I guess it doesn’t really help much that I’m a PRO procrastinator either. Anyways, let’s not get into my struggles and onto the outfit right?

Most of this winter and the whole of last winter, I have been searching for tan-heeled ankle boots (wow! That sounds like a mouthful!). I’m quite fussy when it comes to shoes, especially something with a heel because I’m quite short, so something that’s not the right height (as in too short a heel) doesn’t really do much for me in terms of elongating my legs. Every tan boot that I came across either wasn’t the correct style, colour, height, size or definitely not within my price range. But don’t get me wrong! There were definitely some beauties out there! They just didn’t suit me in one aspect or another. I came across these ones in the strangest of places (I tend to have a knack for that actually!). I saw them in the MAKRO paper and called around for my size. My boyfriend managed to pick them up at a store near his house and let me tell you I was not disappointed when I put them on! They were perfect!

I have also been gravitating towards this boho-styled jacket from Mr Price this winter. It’s definitely been my favourite for effortless, casual-street-chic style! It’s perfect for those days to varsity and makes it look like I put a little extra effort into my appearance that day, when all I did was throw on a jacket! Effortless style for a fraction of the price!
